Die Draconiden besuchen Buna

Da schrieb der CourierFX…
…kennt Ihr das schon, es sollen zum Anlass der Draconiden weltweit Sterne gebaut werden.

Also schnell mit ChemiePanda kurzgeschlossen, und gefragt, ob wir das gemeinsam angehen wollen. Halle und Leipzig haben ja schon einiges zusammen auf die Beine gestellt.

Agent morpheus80 hatte dann auch das richtige Portal parat. Mitten im Werksgelände von Buna, mit einer ENL-only-Zugangskontrolle.
Respekt an Euch für über 1000(!) Keys, die Ihr in dieser kurzen Zeit gefarmt habt.

Nun ging es an die Rekrutierung der Agents. ChemiePanda für den Bereich in Sachsen und ich im Sachsen-Anhaltinischen Bereich. Sehr schön, dass wir wieder mal viele Agents (junge und alte, neue Ingresser und auch die Veteranen) für eine gemeinsame Aktion begeistern konnten. Die Aufgabenverteilung ging uns somit leicht von der Hand.

Als Op konnte ChemiePanda den @kindersalat gewinnen, der das dann fließend übernahm. Man munkelt, seine beruhigende Stimme habe maßgeblich zum Erfolg der Aktion beigetragen.
Pünktlich am 06.10.2018 um 18:00 Uhr waren dann alle Agents an ihren Startportalen. Um Buna herum wurde schnell gecleart und parallel - wo es ging - schon gelinkt. In kürzester Zeit war der Stern deutlich auf der Intel erkennbar.
90 Minuten später, zum vereinbarten Messpunkt, hatte der Stern laut unserem OP schon 845 wunderschön grün leuchtende Links.

Als die ersten schon beim Grillen saßen, war im Chat ein “noch 8” dann ein “noch 7” zu lesen, bis wir 1000 Links am Portal hatten, der längste ca. 50km. Danke an die ausdauernden Agents, Ihr habt dem Ganzen noch die Sahnehaube aufgesetzt.

Und dann kamen die ersten Angriffsmeldungen… nicht am Anker… sondern irgendwo ganz weit draußen und auch am nächsten Morgen trug der Stern noch immer 996 Links.

Draconid meteor shower visits Buna

One day CourierFX said …
… did you already hear, for the upcoming Draconid meteor shower we are going to build link stars worldwide.

So I hurried contacting ChemiePanda first, asking him if we are going to manage the operation together. Halle and Leipzig already did lots of amazing ops together, so this was going to be a blast.

Agent morpheus80 already had the perfect portal up his sleeve. In the middle of the factory premises of Buna with ENL only access.
I pay my respects for farming a 1000 keys in such a short time span.

But first we had to recruit agents and we found lots of new players and old veterans, both from Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt. With lots of players tasks were easily spread and everybody had the chance to meet somebody new.

For the operation itself ChemiePanda was able to find kindersalat as our operator, who took over control easily. People say, that his calm and soothing voice was the main factor of our successful operation.
Right on time at 6pm on October 6th 2018 all agents stood ready at their designated targets. Around Buna blocking links got cleared very fast and agents started linking through the newly found passage ways. After a few minutes the link star could be seen on the intel map already.
After 90 minutes, perfectly timed, the link star had 845 beautifully green links already.

While agents already had their well deserved barbecue we still heard on chat: “8 keys left” and another “7 keys left” until we actually reached a total of 1000 links on our link star portal. The longest link was about 50 kilometers long. Thanks a lot for our persistent agents who kept going, you truly were the icing on our cake.

It didn’t take long and the first attack notifications arrived, not at the link star portal, but somewhere at the far end of our beautiful link star. We got lucky and on the next morning it still counted 996 links.
